30 day shred

Omg my body aches. I did day one yesterday and today I was soo sore. Everytime I moved it hurt. Starting it today was so hard. My muscles hurt and I wanted to stop but I pushed through. Then I noticed that I could do more than yesterday. Yes I took breaks but I still could do more. By the end of the workout I was questioning myself why I would do this to myself but now I feel great. Yes I’m sore and sweaty but I feel accomplished. I pushed myself and I’ve gone to school, an AP Gov study session, homework, worked out, and to top it all off I did all of this on my period. I can do this!

Non-scale victories

  • Having the willpower to say no to that extra junk food
  • Being able to add 10 or 15 more minutes to a workout without getting tired
  • Beginning to see more muscle definition
  • Having your legs jiggle a little bit less when you walk
  • Beginning to see a gap between your body and underwear when you lie down
  • Receiving compliments from those who notice your weight loss
  • Fitting into clothes that used to be too small
  • Feeling healthier and having more energy
  • Feeling more confident
